Breed Information
Spitzky breed type overview
Haven't heard of a Spitzky before? That's ok, many people haven't. Welcome to the upgrade!!!
Spizkies are relatives of the more commonly known "Pomsky", Pomeranian X Siberian Husky or other husky breeds. As Pomeranians are small, the female Husky carries the pups, making pairing difficult and often done via AI. German Spitz on the other hand, are closely related to the Pomeranian and larger in size, allowing for natural pairings. Most Spitz types have (traditionally) less health issues, and are both loyal and intelligent companion dogs.

By crossing a German Spitz with Siberian Husky you get a mix that combines the best traits of both breeds. The Spitzky are known for their fluffy coat, fox-like dainty face, stiking blue or brown eyes and are small to medium sized dogs with a friendly and lively personality.

They are highliy intelligent, easy to train and make great family pets. They are loyal and affectionate forming strong bonds with their human family members yet are also great with kids and other pets making them great for households with young children or other animals. With proper care and training they can thrive in a variety of households and environments.
